Robby was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. He attended North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and graduated from New Hanover High School in 1993. He received a bachelor of science in engineering from North Carolina State in 1997 and a JD from Wake Forest in 2000. Robby interned with the New Hanover County District Attorney’s office both summers during law school where he was directly supervised by Ben David, a new young assistant district attorney. Immediately following graduation, he worked fulltime for a statewide real estate law firm while studying for the bar exam. In the fall of 2000 he opened the office that is now Collins & Collins Law Offices, PLLC.
Robby lives in Wilmington with his wife Morghan, sons Tre and Harrison and three dogs, George, Baxter and Willie Nelson.
Suzanne is a certified paralegal and has worked with C&C since April, 2005. She works with real estate agents and lenders on a daily basis to bring clients to the closing table. She has searched thousands of titles while working with C&C and prepared even more files for closing. Additionally, Suzanne has years of experience working with our clients who are setting up wills, living wills, health care powers of attorney and trusts.
Amber is a paralegal who has worked with C&C since 2006. She works with real estate agents and lenders on a daily basis preparing loan closing packages and settlement statements. She has searched thousands of titles for C&C and prepared even more files for closing. Additionally, Amber has years of experience working one on one with several of our developer clients.
Susan joined C&C in 2003. She is a certified paralegal who concentrates on post closing issues and final title policies. Susan is a past Mayor Pro Tem for the town of Wrightsville Beach and also the mother of two wonderful attorneys.
Robert came out of retirement from running his own computer company for thirty plus years to join C&C in 2010. He handles all of the trust accounting for the firm. A typical day starts slow and ends with all of the days clients counting on Robert to fund their loans and get the checks out. Robert is great with numbers and people too.
Chris joined C&C in February of 2017 as the full time title abstractor. Chris has been searching titles since the 1900’s. He began his professional career in Toronto and most recently worked as an independent abstractor in North Carolina for over 10 years prior to joining C&C. Chris has experience with all types of searches and has worked with everything from inaccessible farmlands to UNCW and City of Wilmington searches. Chris was also involved in the early development of digitizing registry’s recorded documents for the processes that eventually became e-recording.
Chris lives in Wilmington with his wife Amy, daughter Abby (UNCW student), dogs Maggie and Rigby and cats, Lilly and Penny.
